Becky Harmon
Becky Harmon is a Cincinnati native who has been teaching music and working at Somerset since 2007. She teaches piano, oboe, and clarinet.
Miss Becky has been performing in churches since the age of 8. She studied piano with Joy Butler of Cincinnati for 10 years. She then continued on and attended Ohio State University where she majored in German and history. She participated in study abroad programs in both high school and college. It was while studying in Germany she realized her passion for travelling and languages.
Miss Becky, along with Miss Jenifer, has played in various local venues. An important cause to Miss Becky is the elderly and she volunteers at several local senior living facilities providing music entertainment as therapy. Miss Becky and Miss Jenifer are currently developing a music therapy program to provide a better quality of life for seniors in their later years.
Miss Becky plays multiple instruments which include banjo, clarinet, oboe, ukulele, and Irish tin whistle. She loves her four legged fur-babies and dreams of opening a senior animal rescue.
