Saul has always been fascinated with the range of musical possibilities that are possible with the guitar; beyond strictly classical performance, Saul has studied and performed in the jazz, blues, rock, pop and folk/country styles. He believes that as a guitarist it is important to understand all styles of music and to be able to move between them freely.
Saul has taught guitar and ukulele to students of all ages and abilities for over six years. He strives to teach music that students find engaging and challenging while creating a relaxed environment that in his own words:
“In my experience, teaching is all about sharing the joy of music with others. Music is the driving passion of my life, and it is a great privilege to be in a position to help other people reach a more fulfilling connection with this art. As a Guitar instructor I have worked with students as young as five years old to adults over sixty, and I have developed different approaches to suit their needs. While I have learned the value of different approaches for different students, the overall goal remains the same: to create an inclusive, stimulating environment so that my students become better at performing, appreciating and understanding music.”
